Kate Villevoye is an award-winning Dutch-born, Hanoi-based filmmaker. Previously in-house at UK publishing platforms DAZED and VICE’s i-D Magazine, Kate has captured stories exploring cultural and socio-economic themes globally. Her work spans editorial and commercial commissions as well as in-depth personal studies.

Her films have screened at International Film Festival Rotterdam, The Barbican and Mountainfilm Festival, and have featured on Vimeo Staff Picks, National Geographic Society, Aeon, NOWNESS and Deutsche Welle among others. She has made films in collaboration with brands including The North Face, Google, Stella McCartney, and David Zwirner Gallery.
